PRX is seeking a dynamic, effective Chief Marketing Officer who can match PRX's leadership in transforming listening through on-demand, mobile and broadcast channels. Public radio and podcasting are at a moment of tremendous change and promise. PRX is at the center of this growth with a portfolio of exceptional programs including This American Life, The Moth Radio Hour, and the Radiotopia podcast network as well as our founding partnership with the RadioPublic podcast platform.

The PRX Chief Marketing Officer will help grow audience, revenue, engagement, and impact by developing, implementing, and optimizing our marketing efforts across the organization. Given the high level of competition for consumer attention, this leader must be highly proficient at direct-to-consumer marketing approaches. We are looking for a passionate and creative marketing professional with excellent communication skills, proven effectiveness in designing and managing multiple activities including public relations, social media, and advertising. Audience growth strategies for audio are critical and a “growth hacker” mentality is valued over a traditional marketing leader maximizing ROI against a budget. This is a highly entrepreneurial environment and the marketing strategies should reflect that bias. We are looking for someone who understands storytelling, innovation and the unique special sauce of the Radiotopia brand. Strong candidates must be able to plan, develop and execute PRX’s marketing and promotion initiatives with a team of professionals.
